"Wonderful stay! Location is superb, and the breakfast was really good. I had to travel the morning and my breakfast was packed and ready the night before. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We felt like we got great value for our money. A remote control for the gate would help me."

"EVERYTHING. From the moment we entered until the moment that we left we were treated extremely well by the entire staff. The room was superb and the breakfast which was cooked to order was fabulous. You will not go wrong staying here, the rooms are quiet and well appointed, the Koi pond was mesmerizing and the grounds very well maintained. NOTHING"

Het viel tegen dat ik een groot bed geboekt had, maar dat Booking.com dit via een ander boekt en daarbij de eis van en groot bed niet doorkomt (hetzelfde op een andere locatie tijdens onze reis). Daarom boek ik de volgende keer rechtstreeks."

"It was an awesome experience. The gentleman who was dressed like seurity was so helpfun in the evening of arrival. Wish I could mention his name because he offered exceptional service, unfortunately I didnt have cash for tip, bu7t he deserved it and more. We changed room and the owner was verey helpful with that... very smooth. The bed on the other room we got on arrival wasn't as comfortable, we upgraded to a luxury room and it was just perfect."

"Stayed for 4 nights. Room was very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Full DSTV was an added bonus. Breakfast was delicious. Had dinner one night which was also good. Overall a very pleasant stay. Minor issues like asking for toilet paper, water bottles to be replaced, phoning to gain access on arrival and other communication glitches. Parking inside premises was very tight for larger cars."

"The breakfast was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was efficient and attractive. The bedroom was a little tight but fine for an overnight stop. We had a pleasant evening meal there which was very convenient. The security seemed good. The parking was slightly awkward but we were given the opportunity to park elsewhere, There was good security for the cars."

"Friendly, competent and helpful staff, from check-in to restaurant, including the security staff. Very good breakfast selections, and the chef accommodated our dinner special requests. Meals were very good value. Noisy generator or compressor at night, totally disturbed our sleep. We were in Room 5 next to the swimming pool. We will definitely use the facility again when in Kimberley, but will request a room away from the pool area."

"I loved everything about this place ! I will be back. From the time the security opened the gate for us to park our car and wanting to carry our belongings till we left after breakfast it was awesome. Comfortable beds ,crisp linen,stunning bathroom with large towels and a pool to cool off in after a long day. Everything was well kept and in it's place.... Loved it."

"Milner House was a great surprise, it far exceeded expectations and the pictures on the site do not do any justice to this beautiful place. We were pleasantly surprised. Our stay was made more pleasant with your pleasant and helpful staff especially Sharon and her team. Breakfast was OK, there is room for improvement, but no complaints overall. We will definitely keep Milner House in mind the next time we visit Kimberley. Would like to have softer cushions and a bigger selection of breakfast items, e.g. croissants, pastries, chicken sausages, and perhaps some oatmeal, etc."

"We booked in on a Sunday, the 1st of October 2023. We were received by Kenneth (Cant remember his surname) The friendliest guy EVER. He booked us in Room 8 , showed us around the property. Showed us where everything was, the gym, the restaurant, the bar. He even took the time to show us what the other rooms looked like. He asked us at what time we would like to have dinner. (Not just give us a time) At 7pm we ate, after that we went to sit out by the koi pond and just relax. At about 9pm, he came out to us to ask if there was anything we needed. (This is truly service at its BEST) We retired to our room for the evening. Now I've been in some of South Africa's best hotel rooms, and let me tell you they can come and get a good couple of designer tips from the owners of Milner House. The bed was AMAZING, the bathroom was SPOTLESS, and the finishes throughout our room screamed of opulence (well infact the whole property, for that matter) We requested breakfast at 7am the next morning, and sure enough, we walked in at 7am, and our table was set with our breakfast (starter- yogurt and musli with fresh fruit) while our main breakfast was being prepared by the chef.(super friendly as well) We went out for the day, and when we came back, the new reception/concierge was on shift Sharon Barker and again welcomed us back, asked if there was anything we needed. Our room was again spotless and made up and in a superb state. The next morning after breakfast, I asked Sharon if I could take photos of the rooms and property for my social media platforms, and she took me to all the available rooms, opened up and let me do my thing. My wife and I would like to thank ALL the staff at Milner House for a truly memorable stay, I would highly recommend Milner House as the ONLY place to stay in Kimberly. I'll be back next month again, and you can just guess where I'll be staying. We need a Milner House in Cape Town!!!!! ( Asking for a friend ). My wife and I did not like leaving. Milner House is AMAZING!!!!!"

"I had been before and I was very satisfied. When I arrived they had not looked at the reservation and they were not waiting for me, the security told me to leave, I called the phone, they answered me and they gave me a room. The next day in the morning I could not take a shower because there was no hot water, they told me I could do it in 30 minutes. After waiting for more than two hours I had to leave without being able to. then it took them more than an hour to bill me"

The facility had everything that an Explorer/Traveler needs. The room was a bit small but clean. The security seemed a little overdone with cameras everywhere. It kind of made us a bit paranoid. However, somebody else might like that."
